Leave a Copy of Email on Server
In the event that you want to check your email on your home PC,
you may do so by setting up the same email account on your home PC
as the one at work. However, in order to ensure that you continue to
receive ALL of your email at work, you must LEAVE A COPY
on the server. This will allow you to view your email on you home PC
while continuing to receive the same emails on your work PC.
Be aware of the pitfalls of doing this little trick. To avoid
confusion, be careful when replying to emails on your home PC. Keep
track of those that you reply to. Once you get to work and check
email, you will receive all of the same emails that were downloaded
to your home PC.
Once an email is downloaded on your work PC, you will not
receive it on your home PC. DO NOT leave a copy of your
emails on both your home and work PC! Doing this will eventually
cause your server to "fill up" and use all of your web server's disk
space.
